After Birth
In 2010, the Australian Government introduced a series of legislative reforms aimed at increasing the moral fiber of the nation. This included amending laws regarding abortion. However due to a printing error, the new laws in fact allowed for the abortion of any individual, before or after birth.
Facing rising youth unemployment figures, and not wanting to be seen as soft on dole bludgers, the Government decided not to correct this error.
